His Death Gives Us Life

It is that time when we believers remember Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for us. I mourn His death but rejoice in his resurrection. His return to life gifted us all with eternal life. His followers never need to fear death. The enormity of His love for His children humbles me to my knees. On my knees is where I need to be when thinking about the cross and the pain He endured for the world. He suffered excruciating humiliation, beatings, and grievous wounds to cleanse the sinful nature of us all.  My heart wants to be filled with songs of love and my mouth wants to be filled with praise. My entire being wants to be laid before Him as a living sacrifice. Even if I spent every minute of every day in constant service and worship to Him, it wouldn't be enough to thank Him for His enduring love and faithful companionship.
